Night Vision got to give him one for trying

Some bloke on T/M selling a NVS-7 Gen2 set of Goggles. First he was trying to sell them as U.S Issue to U.S forces in Iraq in 1991. Im sure the NVS-7 wasn`t manufactured untill at least the late 1990`s.
I advised him that they were actually Ex Eastern block manufactured and not American (thats the unanswered question on his listing).
Now they are the ultimate in Night vision and he has a photo taken through them. From what I can tell the photo was taken through a gen3 set In Summer in America. Where in NZ are the Cherry and Oaks in full foliage at the moment?
