    Nightforce SHV

    Is anyone using the SHV 3-10x42 with the non illuminated IHR reticle? Wanting to know how they are in the bush. I'm tossing up on one of these or a Leuy in 2-10 or the likes.

    Yes, I have one but it has the MOA reticle which can get a bit lost right on dark. The IHR reticle looks a lot better and I wish I had got that.

    You can get the same 'scope with illumination now which would be primo.

    @Mathias you want to borrow my 2-10x42nxs has MOAR rectile illumination. Cant see me needing it at the moment or in the near future so youre welcome to have a paly.

    They have changed the reticle configuration to a 4A illuminated along with a MOA illuminated option... don't do the IHR version anymore..

    In the 3-10 SHV...

    I don’t think the 4A in the 3-10 SHV has an illuminated option. Just going by the website. Which seems a shame. You’ll have to go for the NXS!

    The reticle digram shows an illuminated 4A... but the specs don't - you might be correct

    However at Nightforce SHV 3-10x42mm Fixed Parallax

    there is a model 612 that is not shown on the USA website because I understand that the 4A is not available in the USA... so it may be and magnumsports is showing an illuminated 4A as being available in fixed parallax..

    I use that same scope on my 300 blackout, bomb proof reliable.
