No5mk1 ? Value
A buddy is clearing out his safe and wants to move a few rifles on as he hasn't fired any of them in 10 years plus. He has no real idea of what they are worth as he A) can't remember what he paid for them, and B) doesn't follow the bangstick market at all as he's focusing on kid, business, and wife (in no particular order), and C) he's blind as a bat these days from gas welding all day for thirty years..
This one being a good example: Would any of you knowledgeable fellows like to hazard a guess as to what it's worth? If there's anything in particular on the rifle you'd like him to take a pic of I can ask.
He thinks it's a No5Mk1, but could be wrong, and I don't know shit from chewed dates when it comes to old Enfields
Thanks,
Tom

I have been watching No5's for a while now with a eye to replacing mine, on trademe the one at $500 or under sell but there are a couple that keep getting listed for $600-700 that haven't sold in well over a year of being listed repetitively.
At teds/caravels etc the sell for less again unless it's a very nice one.
Feel free to pm if you want to talk turkey on this one

Looking at the last Antique Arms auction, and an expired listing search on Tm, if it's in good condition and all matching it's worth an easy $600+.
They don't make them anymore and they're well sought after.

Looks like I ought to get some better pictures. He says it's in great nick, all matching numbers. I'll get it off him and get a pt chev porn shoot together
