Ok fellas here’s another one , 1931 Kurz , these are short actions and were made on lots of configurations , eg , Type A with Kurz action , Type M with Kurz action etc , this one is a Type B Kurz in 250/3000 .
Interesting history on this rifle is it was owned by one of the Tisdall brothers ,they had 2 consecutive serial numbered Kurz Mausers , the other rifle may not even be in NZ anymore , but if you have a Kurz check your number against my one .

What a stunner, do you use it?
Here is my Husqvarna 9.3 x 57.
It has a couple notches on the stock and some initials too.

The Mauser Obendorf factory also made the first production run of M96’s for the Swedes. Not sure if they did commercial spotters on this action?
I have a mil spec for mil shoots.

A tidy Mannlicher in a modern caliber would be around $1000 to $1500 in Scandinavia, an old one in an uncommon caliber about half that. Unless its very special ( engraved, in its case etc) then it might be back up to $1500 ish.Mannlicher just seem to jave gone out of fashion.
Pre war Mauser Sporter in a common Caliber would be $200 to maybe $800 unless its a African caliber someone might really want. Its a crying shame that few appreciate the history and quality of these old Rifles.
Will be selling my Oberndorf Kurz in .250 Savage shortly when I can get some photos done.
NWest, located in NZ?
