    Old .22 Rimfire Rifle Thread

My rifle history began with the humble little .22 when I was a very young fella .
Even though I have spent most of my adult shooting life carrying either a centerfire or shotgun , I still like to get back to my roots occasionally and dust off the " Pea Rifle " as my father used to call it .

My favourite " Pea Rifle " is a old Walther single shot that is super accurate and has seen a lot of use from its former owners and now myself .

I thought it would be cool if we could have a thread for those old .22 rifles we all started with , but now sit in the corner and go unnoticed for long periods of time .

Dust them off , snap a couple of pics and show us what you got hidden in the safe .

Must be sleeved for .22 is it? I recall shooting something like that when I was in the ATC back in the early 80's.

made from new as a .22, some have leaved barrels and some are purpuse made barrels- I have both and I forget what this particular one is. This is an ex NZ cadets rifle, so you may even have shot this very rifle
