Thread: Older timers..

When I was growing up, the gun oil seemed to be far different than what we get nowadays. It was thick, Dark, had a unique smell and you could soak a cloth in it and use it for months without it evaporating.

Is it just my faded memory of my youth, or was it actually a better product?
