One US store sells 30,000 AR15 in ONE week

Gun shop sells 30,000 AR-15 assault rifles in just one week - World - NZ Herald News

"Just when you thought you couldn't be any more dismayed by America's gun crisis, comes this depressing nugget of information.

Despite the fight for gun control making waves across the world in the week since a terrorist attack in an Orlando nightclub that left 49 dead and 53 wounded, one online gun shop has sold a whopping 30,000 AR-15 rifles.

Let me repeat that: 30,000 guns sold in ONE WEEK.

Hunter's Warehouse owner Tom Engle told Fox Business' Stuart Varney that weapons in his online shop, with an inventory of 300,000 to 400,000 guns, have in fact flown off the shelves in the week since the massacre.

"In particular the AR-15 has been selling very, very well," Mr Engle said from Pennsylvania."

No wonder they are so much cheaper than NZ with that high a turnover. Wonder what the total sale of firearms in NZ is in one year, probably less than that.

It happened last time they talked gun control over there too. Great for business!

I think it will die off a lot faster than last time. The latest gun proposals were rejected the other day. And the USA ended up with an enormous AR surplus after the 2012 panic.

Nothing drives gun sales like gun restrictions.

I see the Herald have a new target for stories. Was always Auckland housing crisis, or Max Key, now maybe it's guns ?
