280ai is a great choice for long range light weight alpine rifle, about the only downside is you need to stay with 24in or longer barrel. Sounds like you’re on to a good powder/pill combo. I would not be too worried about groups of 3, 4 or 5 shots. The thin light contour barrels can be pretty whippy and heat up fast so could lead to fliers. If the first 2 shots are consistently on the money, then go hunting.
