    Picatinny rail for BRNO 2e

Has anyone here ever mounted a Picatinny rail to their .22 Brno 2e? Now Ive got a bolt again and 2 x 22s now, Im thinking of setting one up so I can mount my thermal on it for hares and cats.

    Just looking for options

    Check the rail width.
As there are different width under side slot picatinny rails for the 2e/CZ452.

If one of your 2e is not a heirloom, you could have a tikka flat rail installed and screwed on, but that involves drilling and tapping your receiver

I have had one of these on my CZ452 American (this is the one with the oddball dovetail size) for years - works great. Uses set screws which push down onto the top of the action and I put some #7 lead shot in the bottom of the holes before tightening the screws so they don't do any damage.

That looks like the ideal solution, as yeah just measured the top of dovetail and its the oddball 11mm

we found out the hard way that morning!

I ended up coughing 200 dollars at reloaders for an adjustable rail that fits just about every size

Not too bad, I was able to mount normal 1" scope with low rings, but with thermal used a slip on elastic bullet holder with 5mm layer of foam under to lift the comb height.

Yeah the old hog back stock is a bit low for scope use as it is and I have some foam wrapped around it already. Ill just adjust again when I mount the Thermal.
