Thread: POI chang with DPT suppressor surprising results

Finally got to the range to test out my new DPT mk2 stainless suppressor on my rem mag.
Gotta say I was expecting to have to fiddle to get it zeroed but to my surprise, 1/2" to the right was all that was required
I also saw an increased avg speed from 2963fps without the can to 3026fps with it.
Just as boringly accurate as before but much much nicer on the ears.

Here is the first 3 shot group with the can on


Here is the second to confirm, must've been off my game on the second group only 1/2" instead of the usual 1/3"


What a fantastic and boringly accurate piece of kit, just had to share my results

Nailed it

ive heard the grouping tightens a bit more to, im getting one for my 300wsm this is very encouraging

Oil ya caliper's that group might tighten up even more

How far back did you previously chrono the load, as in # of rounds?

Maybe 10 tops it's a hunting rifle and usually only gets shot at deer

you will be able to share that suppressor with the mighty poohseventy....save yourself some coin,not having to buy a 2nd one....works fine unless you decide to use both rifles at same time.
