POI changes
Hi all,
Out of curiosity does anyone have experience with how much the poi will change when adding/removing a suppressor or brake? I’ve just purchased a shiny new 7mm rem mag and have both a suppressor, and a brake, and was hoping I could interchange them as I pleased and for hunting purposes out to say 300m max my poi wouldn’t drastically change? Any experience would be great. (DPT MK2 and DF Quattro Brake if that makes a difference)
Cheers

There's no one answer for this. Expect it move enough that you will need to adjust your scope when switching.
The exact amount is going to depend on a lot of things and I doubt there's any formula you could use to predict it. You'll have to go to a range and see.

Yep you'll have to shoot it and see. Most of my rifles dont change but then one of them is miles out If I shoot it with suppressor off

Have had some poi change between the two @100m more than 3 inch

The POI on my rifles that have brakes on them will about 2 inches @ 100m with most bullets. You have to shoot to find out.
Cheers
