All those with dogs waiting no longer fear death. Those with many dogs waiting even welcome it in it's time.

Hard to find info on exactly how much the things weigh, but I expect they'll come with a good recoil pad. Anyway, I'll save weight by eating a bit less, and save money by not buying a 15-20k lightweight rifle.

But like a custom Holland and Holland, there are shooters out there happy to put down the money.

Well I don't want to save weight by reducing my own.

I prefer a little heft in the rifle, without going overboard.

There are only three types of people in this world. Those that can count, and those that can't!

Yes but will they actually work and if you have problems will the supplier actually stand behind their work / products in a timely manner.
    That is what really matters!

I'm pretty sure that most reputable operators would see you right mikee...terminator products will do a 'turn key" rifle with load development for instance.

One might expect that, at that price, you are paying for reliability, not needing an after-sales service department, like you need that on an Iraqi rooftop. (-:

    Fine weapons though, no argument.

Can’t see how they can justify that price. And can’t see what they would offer over a custom build with decent components ??

I wonder if there is not going to be a bit of a "Swarovski syndrome " with those rifles.ie. some people buy them and put their hard earned money in them, and use them just a few time during the year, and suddenly realise that they have 2 to 5 k of scope sitting in their safe doing petty much the same thing as a 1 to 2 k scope. And then selling them at 3/4 or 2/3 Rd or less of what they bought them for ?

How much would one will be willing to buy a second hand proof research rifle? To my eyes and my wallet ,even 8k would still be too much for such a rifle.

It weighs more more than a Sako Carbonlight so not exactly groundbreaking weight reduction.

Sure if you have money to burn buy one, but no amount of customness makes it worth that price.

Have a summit in the safe at them moment for testing so will let you know what it weighs and how it goes over the break.

They dont have to justify anything. If people are willing to pay then they can charge what ever they like. Theres plenty of that going around. Competition usually has an impact though.
