I've got a Tipton carbon jobbie, seems to do the trick.
I would go for either a Tipton carbon fibre or ProShot SS one.

And chop it half for a straight-ish short rod ;)
Have you tried turning it over and sitting on it the other way?
Three Tipton rods here.
Tiptons are good
I have a Hoppes stainless steel rod and it works well, use it for my 223 and 260.
It's too tight to use on my CZ 22lr so have recently bought a Tipton carbon for that.
Surely cleaning rods are much of a muchness?
The Tipton is nice, but not sure its worth paying $70 when the $35 Hoppes one works just fine.
Could make your own Cam ? I was thinking about getting my bro to make a few up how hard can it be to put a handle on one end of a stainless rod & a spike on the other .
Tipton
"Gunslick", carbon-fibre rods. Brass fittings and free-rotating handle. Have had a couple for about 6 years and still like them.
