Does anyone send their CDS to Leupold to have it done?
Every scope I have ever seen for sale says "CDS voucher unused".

Nah easier to stick with the MOA turret they come with. The CDS turret only works with one load. Change your load and you need a new turret.
Totally agree. That's why I haven't done either of the ones I've owned. Was just wondering if anyone did.
I did it with my first vx3(that was non cds originally) and got a custom drop cds in good old MOA
As above I personally wouldn't get one printed for a specific load, even if you stayed with that load angle and atmospherics can make a big big difference.
Moa ???? :)
Has anyone figured a clean way to make these turrets lockable?
Best way would be to get a VX5 turret retro fitted. A friend had it done to his VX6. Otherwise some washers or similar under the turret so it can't go down past your zero. That way if it has moved you know which way it went.
@Gibo. Thanks. I did'nt know there was a zero stop bearing or a recess in there for one in VX3 CDS. Is there somewhere I can access pics and details please? Such a setup would be great for P5 dial as well, if it exists.
Um I started a thread on it for VX2. I think they the same. let me try and find it.

Thanks. Just read it. Scarey stuff.
Just find out how much "up" you have from Zero and how far that will let you shoot with average atmospherics, that way if you ever get lost or suspect your scope has done a full turn while being carried(never happen) you can wind all the way up then count back down to zero however many MOA or MIL
