We all know that the first baffles in a can get the most wear, especially on varmint rigs ( my 17hornet is quite hard on em ) just wondering if anyone that fire heaps of rounds rotates their baffles or just replace the worn ones & yes I realize there's SS ones.

That way you are putting the most wear on one baffle which is cheap to replace when it gets fucked

Well I suggest you look down in there with a borescope. In the case, ignorance is bliss. I've seen -serious- erosion with these in not that many shots.Quote:

The smallest s/s baffle we do is 22cal, that is still an option for your .17
