Quick Brownells question
Hey guys looking at getting a XS Sight System for a Marlin 336. I see people saying you need an import permit for firearm parts was just wondering what the go would be for this MARLIN 1894/1895/336/308MX LEVER RAIL SIGHT SYSTEM | Brownells Never got anything firearm related out of NZ so just curious as how to proceed

If it can be exported from the US and needs permits, then Brownells will send you all the info and forms required. They are good for that.
-
Shows up under the 'available outside USA' filter, however it is over $100, so I expect it will be covered by:
"Generally speaking, items which usually need a license are:
Frames
Receivers
Barrels
Barrel Liners
Various other gun parts such as triggers, sears, ejectors, magazine tubes, scopes, and other items if the ordered amount is over $100.00 US."
Might be worth a quick question to them to confirm so you know what your in for?
If it requires an export permit its still doable, but a bit of a hassle.

Quick Brownells question
In my experience the "available outside the USA" filter is a wast of time as it's not kept up to date.
They are very good at emailing back fast if you ask them
Not sure if it helps but I have got other XS sights from them in the past with no problems
