Personally I like the R8 professional stock.. apart from one factor... its heavy.. fit is brilliant, shape is excellent, sound deadening, stable, stiff... not cold to the touch, tactile in the wet...
The only advantage you gain with a carbon fibre stock is weight reduction... is that quality?
Its a synthetic stock, its well built... its designed for practical use, its perfectly consistent with its intended purpose and it is not inconsistent with the quality of the rifle..
There are plenty of options for scope mounting, including the addition of picitinny rails onto the saddle mount. Some scopes are problematic on any rifle.
Heard the carbon fibre one by Christ Arms can be a POS anyway, luck of the draw. Was going to buy one, but at over 2k US it would suck getting one in, only to have to send it back.
