    the battery is a CR2. common as hell. if you cant get one at mitre10 go to a camera shop

    just make sure you get a decent brand, you dont want any leaks of battery fluid !

    they are ok, i would go for the energizer lithium
    panasonic is good. but no cheapies as they will leak and then it costs lots of money to repair. (i just repaired a $2000 ATN scope with corrosion damage)

    Especially the weird f**kers in your car alarm remotes.

    I've always found bunnings stores sell the good ones(energiser) for very cheap as a pose to supermarkets, camera shops etc. I remember once being desperate and the Kodak shop charged me 24smackas.

    Next time you need some I can supply Nitecore CR2 for $5 each. A tad cheaper than most of the others out there and just as good if not better.
