    Razor 2-10x40

    @Timmay
    Iv had a bit of time with this now. No issues with the eye relief you asked about. Its generous, set correctly at max it dosen't show any change through the range. FOV is good. Dials are ok, reliable and consistant and better than the Z5 for feel. Glass is good, though others seem to find fault with it, it hangs very well with the Z5 and set at the same exit pupil low light difference between the two is splitting hairs. The only thing I can think of that would show a difference is if it compared to the 25x Z5 with the 52mm objective but thats not apples with apples. Name: IMG_0018.jpg

    I like the G4 ret, works well, the 1/2 mo dot I thought might be a little hard to pick up but its fine, even at night with a green Maxtoch.

    Like the look of that reticle too. Might be on the shopping list.

    I looked at the VX 5 specs, do look good but for this use it meant buying a new 30mm mount and I didnt really want 30mm tube , they still have that long taper on the front bell limiting mounting like the VX 6, I wanted capped turrets, wanted to try the G4 reticle and bottom line there wasnt any 2-10 vx 5s in the country when I was looking.
    That has to be good buying at your quoted price.

    Would be interesting to get loupy and razor side by side one evening if @Shearer is into it ?

    I don't mean to hijack the thread,but I have several Diamondback scopes,one on a 270,the other on one of my AR,s...I have no issues with these scopes,their price and or the warranty....ever considered one of these..

    Iv had 2 in the past, still one of the best bang for buck scopes. You could land them from opitc zone for $280nz a couple of years ago. Iv still got a diamond back HP on the 22.
    If i didnt suffer from optics curiosity Id still have one on the AR and a $k more in the bank.

    [Awesome mate......and they are actually getting better.....to pay for the "the name"is one thing....to pay for a cheaper product that is just as good is another.....I have 3 leupolds...they are no better than the diamondbacks,at a 1/3 of the price....just a suggestion fellas!
