A Mate lent me a 50 BMG suppressor so I decided yesterday to have a play with it.

Quite an interesting bit of kit to use, at just over 15 lbs it is over half the weight of the rifle :yaeh am not durnk:
It needs a bi-pod on the suppressor instead of the stock :)
Impressive Greg,I think im going to come down and visit just to fire that:D.The sound suppression is real good but you still have more muzzle jump aye.I actually think my Ai is louder than that suppressed 50 what do you reckon.

I know video is not realistic sound reproduction (and especially on my phone) but it seemed to me like there was a lot more echo with the suppressor than the brake, sound going forward with suppressor rather than sideways with the brake?.

7kg of suppressor ...... I proberlly couldn't carry the whole weapon at all ....
Sounds like a freakin jet doing a fly over. That can is novelty size. But then I guess it kind of has to be.
Whats the powder charge in a 50? Must be a fair amount of gas to redirect
