$750 - 800+ for barrel plus $350 - 400 for gunsmith work sounds about right.
But all these costs exclude GST, so remember to add that on.
Sometimes u can get brand new or almost new factory barrels for $250 -300 which can save u some coin. Some can be surprisingly good shooters. Trueflite put a new REM XCR in 7mm RM on an old CDL action for me. Dropped it into a B&C stock and it shoots 0.5 moa if I do my bit. There’s been a bunch of brand new Tikka barrels on TardMe recently for $250 buy now. Ex Hardy?
