Looking for a 1/2x20 can for my 22lr cz455. Want reasonably economical, light, with good suppression. Only shoot subs through it currently and like it to be as quiet as possible. The below is looking pretty good to me, any reviews/opinions?

look on aliexpres for oil filter and you will find one and drill a hole in the end. no joke
No mention of the cheapy screw-on ones that start at about 60 bucks? They work just fine for a .22 and dont add weight or length

Agreed, I've been using one like this for over 25 years, never missed a beat, can be cleaned (but rarely is) and is as quiet as anything else I have been around.Quote:

This is one I had printed for me, I modelled it the same as a 14.5mm cartridge and just increased the neck dia to 15mm so it'll match the muzzle of my rifle. It works very well and is quieter than the aluminium/carbon fibre ones that I've made in the past. It only used $2-3 of material and this design is a bit fragile but its easy to make cheap and replaceable surpressors.

Got a DPT off a forum member thanks team. The DPT I have with 7 baffles will move to the 17HMR when I get that and the 5 baffle one will go on the 22
