Rem 788 .222 mag length

Lads, anyone happen to have a 788 .222/.223 magazine and can tell me how long they are? Internal length that is.

58.65mm or 2.311inches. Probably not a good idea to go to the full internal length, the 788 mag springs are a bit on the weak side and cartridges loaded to the max length tend to catch a bit cos the mag plate doesnt always ride up true.
