Remington 541T
I am seriously looking to sell my 541T not an overly common firearm in NZ and I don't see there being a big market for them so low prices. However in the USA they usually go for $800-$1000 US. So what do you guys know about selling firearms there. Does anyone know the drama you have to go through to get a rifle out of NZ and what would a buyer have to do to import on into the USA?Is it worth trying or not?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Jeremy

I have an identical rifle with 2-7 Leupold in conetrol mounts. I love it to bits and will never sell it.

@garyp I know what you mean, however all the other rifles I have I love even more and something has to give. So this one is likely to be the first one to go, I mean the third one to go. I have already sole the Remington 700 Classic in .222 and the Winchester Model 70 Featherweight in 7-08mm. Getting rid of stuff sucks. If I could convince myself to sell the boat my money problems would be over.

I tried to sell a barrel to someone in Oz - even that was full of pitfalls. I gave up. The USA would be twice or more difficult.

just down grade the boat a little and your covered.

Put it in the buy sell swap section at a realistic price, you never know it might sell.
