Remington 700 L/A drop in to Bergara HMR stock?

    Hey team,

Anyone dropped a remington 700 strait into a Bergara HMR stock?
I have a 6.5-284 on a Rem 700 action and dropped it into my Begara wilderness HMR stock and seems to fit really well and thought it might be OK without bedding due to the mini chassis in the HMR stock or is that wishful thinking?

I've had good luck with doing a SA one into an HMR with no bedding, but I think it pays to watch action screw torques closely in any alloy block insert stock (which is what the HMR is), Bergara say 55 inch lbs . . . .
