    Rifle barrels

So im in the planning process of building a 284 rifle on a tikka action.

Setting it up with a VX6 4-18X44 and a stug stock.

What are the other readily available barrels available in NZ and who stocks them....

I know about truflight and vulcan, just exploring my options.

nz made is easiest as no legal papers etc ie import permits

but most gunsmiths can order a mab, shillen etc if you would rather
true flight barrels are just as good as anything else out there infact I've herd there are a few guys importing them to the usa etc even though there are plenty of good usa made barrels so they must rate them highly

Downside to the Stug stock is the waiting list, you might want to check that, you could just use a take off Remington or Tikka barrel in 7mm, they are good enough.

    You mean rechamber?

They're as hard as the hobs of hell. Any sensible gunsmith would demand you provide your own reamer

Not as hard as the likes of a Lothar Walther and they are good target hunting barrels, just have to know different way to machine them.

I normally hold kreiger and Bartlein barrels and the local trueflight also, but don't sell barrels as blanks only fitted
