    Rifle Stocks From Brownells

I have tried several times over the last year or so to order a stock from Brownells and always get a message when I get to the shipping part of the order process sayng sorry but brownells cant ship this item to NZ. Earlier I decided to try it again on a B&C Remington model 7 stock and the whole process went right through no problems....

Will keep is thread updated with what happens.

This is what I ended up getting from the:
    Steve,

Yes, we can ship item 000-003-966 to New Zealand with the proper documents. This item would require an export license before it can be shipped to you. The cost of the license application is $250.00.

    Thanks,

    Niesje

Yes, sorry guys, forgot to get back to this thread, I ended up receiving an email a few days ago saying the item was ready to ship.
That was promising, however the next day I got another email saying I would need an export permit, which was going to cost a packet so I declined and have been refunded. Basically, it is possible, but you will end up paying around nzd$800-900 to get a simple B&C stock landed here.

    if its any consolation....
Im in florida on holiday.I ordered a competition spring kit,a ghost connector and a new striker for my Glock last week, eta is 4-7 days.I confirmed everything with brownells before I ordered and they said fine, paid for etc all good, delivery address is the villa Im staying in.
Next day I get an email saying due to contractual agreements they cant send the striker but have despatched the others and I got a tracking number so ok nearly all good.I followed it for the next two days through the tracking system and yesterday it says out for delivery by usps,we've got a day in the villa so all good.
At about 1430 I checked the tracker and its got an update saying not able to be delivered as addressed at 1206.Not good.I googled the usps branch with the intention of picking it up and read the online reviews of people's wait times and decided not to pursue it,especially as the website said it was going to be returned to sender anyway.I email brownells and asked them to refund the order.
    Waste of time all round.
