Rossi lever action .357 firing pin needed

A friend was dry-firing his Rossi Puma .357 and broke the firing pin!
He called 3 importers/distributors and was told none of them import spare parts.

I know there's plenty of these rifles around... surely someone sells parts? Any suggestions gratefully received.

I dunno what it looks like, a local gunsmith stripped the Rossi, but assuming similar to my own Marlin lever action .357 firing pin: stepped or tapered, about 70-80 mm long

    I’ve disassembled and reassembled a few 92’s.
The pin is stepped and is not straight forward to remake to the right tolerances.
Stevez Guns in the US specialise in Rossi’s and may have parts.

This dude has a few bits and bobs for Rossi's.

This ones way lot cheaper if you can get it. suggest old stock? only 25 bucks. not worth mucking around making one.
In aussie too. Don't know if that makes it easier though.
Also suggest getting a decent spring kit for them. Smooths everything right down and makes it heaps easier to cycle. This one was brilliant and the dude was super helpful. he was coming over to NZ and brought it over and posted it to me here to save on postage.

Maybe stop the firing pin getting broken again but struggle to see how that would happen. One fellow here on the forum hated his one. Think it might have gone through extractor/springs but cant remember
