Thread: Ruger 10/22 - whats the best stock out there?

I need to buy another stock to accept the .920" barrel, so was wanting something I didn't need to modify out of the box. Re-reading my original post, it's not clear that was what I was doing.
Running a 1" corebox cutter down the Hogue sporter barrel stock to make the barrel fit would just make it so flexible it would be pointless. (I contemplated it).
