Wilco. Ive gone back to the 1st post and I see that.
And you said this in post #4: So when you changed to the new rifle I assume you used the same scope and you had to adjust it to get it on zero? The clip on indexes off the outside of the scope bell. When you resighted the day scope for the new rifle you change the position of the reticle in reference to the bell. That being the case you will have to zero the clip on to the new reticle position.
The clipon indexes(alignes)??? off the out side of the bell ???.The word indexes thru me off abit assocciated with this.lols
Went to the range last evening, tryed 2 shots at 300yds n 400yds with clipon on.Aiming at the top of foil(yellow line),300yds red dots, bit high n low,had to fine tune focas a bit.
400yds (green dots),not a bad 1/2moa at 2inchs low.
But most thermal deer targets are inside 250yds anyhow.

Dont know why but I always seem to shoot better at 400yds than 300yds.lols
Rusan adaptor will hold the InfiRay clip on firmly now on my scope.Only had .20 of a mm clearance to push n slide on bell.Purchased Rusan adaptor from NZ AMMO, Upper Hutt, very good deal.Better deal than HuntheNight Auzzie and we supporting NZ retailers.Attachment 244701
