    Sako 100

    Do we have anyone up to speed with these
    Availability date in Nz ?
    Price ?
    Price of an extra barrel ?
    Weight?

    Lets hope they come in underneath the Blaser's Et Al so a few of us can actually afford one.

    what exactly is a Sako 100 ????got any juicy specs or details....unfortunately work doesn't believe I should be googling such things

    Looks interesting....will be eye-watering level expensive.... and even with the switch barrel system - you may be better off owning multiple different rifles - can only use one at a time (can't lend one to a mate if you've only got one trigger...)
    On the flipside... will likely only be a matter of time before another manufacturer seizes on this approach if it's what the market wants

    Switch barrel Sako with scope mounting on each barrel, two interchangeable stock options, walnut and weaved carbon
    agreed the walnut one looks great.
    Caliber options, -243 Win, 308 Win, 6.5 CM, 6,5x55 SE, 270 Win, 30-06 Sprg, 8x57IS, 9.3x62, 300 Win Mag, 7 mm Rem Mag and 375 H&H
    If it was affordable and not too heavy Ie R8 heavy, it would do me, I'd keep my 223 and have the 100 with three barrels.
