I’m betting they have issues. I’ve got two 85’s - one WSM and a 270 and they both do it. You can’t run low rings and they work best with a quick cycle of the bolt that works 80-90% of the time and a scope with a low profile windage turret. Running the ejector at 6 o’clock was a huge design flaw from Sako imo. Yet I still have two so I’m obviously prepared to put up with it. Retrofitting a plunger ejector in the bolt face would likely cure the problem, but I haven’t heard of anyone offering that fix.
WSM’s in general are average for feeding, that’s not a problem exclusive to Sako.
And why anyone would own a .270 is beyond me anyway 😜
