    Sako & Tikka 7mm barrels

    Why do Sako & Tikka still make the 7mm barrels in 9.5" twist if the new high BC bullets require a much faster twist. What is the heaviest bullet that is stable in your 9.5" twist rifle.

    Because they're made for off the shelf ammo which is generally a lighter projectile that a custom application and reloading can provide.

    That being said I run the 162gr ELD-X in my T3 and it's a very happy projectile.
