Thread: Scope for .22

Hey Guys

Was wondering if you could give me some advice on a scope for my Brno Model 1 .22

The original scope fogged (seals popped in cargo hold while on plane over here?), I have replaced with a bushnell banner that came with my 7mmRM but I think the 7mm has damaged it and it has gone from tackdriver with the old scope to shotgunner! Literally from half to 1" groups at 50m to about 7" groups now and zero consistency, 2 through the same hole and then three together way right, then 1 high and on and on!!!!!!!!!

Max range will be 70 -100m, mainly used for possums, bunnies and the odd deerstalkers target shoot. Now obviously I don't want to go and break the bank on a .22 scope so what I have been thinking about are a Nikko Stirling Gameking (The one on my .223 seems to be pretty decent for the money), Simmons 8 point (no idea what these are like?) or any other suggestions?

Other options would be to get a better scope for the .223 and put the gameking on the .22 but the .223 is dialled in really well and shooting half inch groups so don't really want to mess with it! (Know it shouldn't change but sometimes these things mess with your head!)
