    Scope ideas for jw15

    Hi all.

My Bushnell banner has a too thick eye piece for any of the rings that reloaders have. Currently the bolt is touching the scope.

I do not want to modify the bolt nor the scope.

So I am after ideas in what's the go with a low power scope that works. Doubt if I'd ever use more than a 3-9x40 considering that I shoot a hand full of times a year and mostly possum's.

    Cheers.

    What rifle is it on?

I may just have to go to a fixed 4 lower or something similar.

Weavers are often quite slim/compact, might be worth a try.

My Jw15 came with a Zos 4x32 scope. Never heard of the brand before, but it's held up ok. That said, it hasn't been rattling round in the back of a ute or anything.

Cheers. Heard good things about weaver grand slams so I'm sure they have some good 22 scopes.

I had an old leupold VX1 3-9x30(ish) on mine an it worked sweet with the rings that came in the package. Not a whole lot of room around the bolt handle but still enough

Just modify the bolt handle, it's a working rifle.

It lets you have the scope lower, where you can have a better cheek weld. Unless you're like the horse that walked into a bar ...

I know. I would just rather not screw with something not easily rectified.
