If four hundy yards is it for hunting and deer main target,you aren't going to need more than nine power. And realistically shouldn't need to dial. And I hear screams of he will need to resight each time he swaps scopes....well you will already be at the range,if scope is put back in rings in same place it's not going to be much of a problem to rezero at all,if needed at all.
