    Scope rail

I have a thompson centre hotshot for my kids, I want to put a scope on it. It is a discontinued product so parts aren't available for them, what are the options to put a rail on it. Could I grab any rail and have it re drilled? My kids are at the stage now where I am quite keen to scope their rifle.

eabco show a mount for them.

The G2 contender weaver ones might be close.
I suspect the hot shot barrel will be slightly smaller diameter though.
How many mounting holes are there @300wsm for life and what are the spacings ?

The weaver G2 bases are about $35 but would need to be re contoured if the .22 is smaller than 20.5mm diameter.
Its not especially difficult buts it takes time and a bit of trial work to get it right

How do you get stuff from EABCO? Eban Brown stopped international sales many years ago.
Bought quite a bit of stuff from them over the years and then they ceased international sales IIRC due to as they stated hassles of overseas parcels going missing.
    Shame.

@akaroa1 I will measure when I get home. Have seen the correct part in the states I just can't be bothered with importing etc. If I can find something here in NZ to do the job then I will.
