    Scope too high ?

How does this look ? Not too high ? Is there an advantage of being lower ? Had this rail mount ,its probably 10 mm higher than the two piece mounts . I'm like to keep it as I'm led to believe it's a stronger option , also it also clears the supresser at low power . Cheers munsey Name: image.jpg

How does it feel when you shoulder it and so on? Not moving your neck up to look through and such?

If it feels uncomfortable to shoot like that, Leupold PRW lows will bring it down. If you bring it down it looks like you might have to chop the over hang piece off the rail.

I can't see how you can get a good cheek weld with it that high. Ditch the rail and bring it down.
    Classy scope too

The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds

if it throws up like a shottie...close eyes throw rifle up to shoulder and open eyes...are you looking through scope????? that's best if a bush hobbit where snap shot at positively IDed target is helpful but if it works as is leave it alone, you can always cut off overhang and put her in lower rings.
my zastava .223 looks like that and needs it to clear bolt so I put 50mm scope on her ....looks normal now...plurry silly with 4x32 on it.

yeah i would be bringing it down but it is really up to the user, i cant get a satisfactory cheek weld on any factory stocks no matter how low the scope so just go as low as possible. I have a little stock pack on my tikka which is mint or i had a adjustable cheek piece on my 338. My forbes stock is better than most but still not perfect.

Too high for sure. Go see gunworks and get some Talley rings to suit. It's good gear needs good mounts.
