Scout scopes

Does anyone here have experience with scout scopes - in particular the Burris 2.75x20mm? I'm looking a mounting one to my Rossi.
I can only seem to find them over in the states for shipping.

I have a Lynx 2x28 pistol scope you can have a go with? Bought it to put on my winny but couldn't bring myself to modify a mint 65 year old rifle!

I used to have a Hiburtus 4 x 20 on a brake down .22. It worked well but I found the position of your eye in relation to the scope was critical. Not a problem if you have it well set up.

They're shit unless you have a gun you desperately want to scope and can't use a conventionally mounted optic

It would be going on top of a Rossi m92. The irons just don't do it for me.
