but in reality...your still relying on trust that seller isnt telling porkies...I can make all my rifles shoot a ten shot group under an inch...100% guarantee I can do it....at five yards with rifle held in vice.... the photo of said group would be no more reliable than sellers word that it will do X size at X range....either your a man of your word...or your not worth a pinch of pony pooh. if after purchase said rifle wont live up to said claims..your still relying on the integrity of seller to either, proove it will do it,take it back,or refund some $$$$......

One claim, if true, means something. The other claim, even if true, is utterly meaningless

if the other claim has X = under inch and other X= 1==yards.......... the truth of not of the matter still remains an unknown quantity.

And it also comes down to the shooter.
Not every shooter can shoot a 10 shot MOA group even if the rifle is capable.

^^^ This is bang on. 10 shot groups are a good reflection of precision of “ the shooting platform “ that includes the shooter, rifle, ammunition, optics, bipod etc.

I’d say most people can’t shoot a 10 shot 1 MOA group with their hunting rifles and that’s a tough pill to swallow for them regardless of whether it’s the gun or the shooter. That’s why no matter how many times gimp mentions it lots of people still only talk about their three shot (cherrypicked) cloverleafs’. This is why people rarely (from what I’ve seen) post more than three shot groups when they’re selling their rifles.

More like most rifles won't do it, and when you put people behind a genuinely precise rifle the "shooter error" disappears mysteriously, but never mind, people are slowly catching on and I just have to treat claims of precision without real evidence as unreliable.

Interestingly while it's a buyer's market to some degree, the expected price floor from sellers still seems too high to me in many cases but there are still bargains to be found if you're patient

integrity, man of your word.. could be getting a lost art it seems. i like to think im dinky die. sold here a number of times cos i dont like the rifle(bad experience) or need the funds. not a 10 shot group issue at all.
