Sending firearm parts to new zealand

Have had my man in usa say that FedEx is saying they need to send all firearm parts to a designated special address after our new laws have come into play rather than a residential or business address.

Does anyone no if this is the case? Do we address the package to customs or something ?

That may be FedEx way of doing things, but Brownells use USPS and pretty sure they will ship here and it just gets stopped by customs.

Just received a parcel via Fedex from South Africa. It contained stocks, bottom metals and Jewel triggers. It was adressed to me, as soon as it went through customs they requested my import permit and 2 days later my parcels was delivered to my door. With a small fee to be paid for the inspection.
