maybe you've got the wrong model number. They come in 222 remington too.

Also sold under the Charles Daly brand in the USA.

Not on my. 308... It has nothing other than serial number and calibre.

IIRC Zastava was also making one of Remington's 22RFs sometime in the last 10 years ish.

my goodness,Brian, didnt realise you were a man of such good taste......
Trout...thats on mine along with the CZ symbol...bought mine 22 years ago new...its the only one Ive seen with a bridge mount over action....VERY nice accurate rifle...the action isnt controlled feed, the bolt does have the slidey rail around the side but its push feed and plunger eject like my mid 80s mod 70....mine is the .223 and has killed a heck of a lot of game over the years.

    Hi MD,just picked 222 up today,camo vinyl stock,20 inch,bit of wear n tear for age but pretty good.gave it a bit of a clean.Took bases off,werent screwed on very tight,moister underneath.Put a loopy 3x9 on it.Took stock off it,pretty clean under neath.Holds 6rds.Nice little walking rifle.
Serial number in the early 40000s,be interesting the age of it.

great scope choice.....mine wears the 50mm version as mounts are high enough ...need to be for bolt clearance.
I did the "hot glue gun" bedding on mine and some 20 years later it still looks good enough that I dont need to redo it properly yet.
barrel is on the firm/heavy side....suppressing the short barrel made it much more pleasant to shoot as sure had a bark to begin with.
Ive run mine with 50grn projectiles and have no issues at all with preformance....hornady spsx ,winchester sp,zmax and barnes all work fine. infact every load its been fed works just fine n dandy...did not bother trying anything heavier than the 64??grn federal loads....dont see the need.
resist putting the extra round in magazine....load it one less than capacity and work bolt "like you mean it" and you wont have any issues....I smoothed mine out by working it over n over again at night while watching telly when first got it.
