    Show Your Ruger 10/22

Been thinking about “ Flashing “ up my 10/22 and thought it might be interesting to get a few ideas and reviews of modifications you’ve done .
So if you’ve got a 10/22 with any sort of aftermarket additions ( big or small ) please post up some photos and advice

    Cheers

I have a half similar setup.
Ruger 10/22 - the bolt and receiver are certainly not the best produced by Ruger but it is what I have.
    Timney trigger
Proof carbon wrapped barrel with a random suppressor on it
KRG Bravo chassis (with an extra butt spacer)
    MDT Scope rail (I think!)
    MDT arca rail section
    VTP Mag grabs

At some stage I wouldn't mind shifting to a better receiver and bolt but I really like the Timney trigger so I'd want that to work with the new receiver & bolt. I would have gone tacsol as they allow the charging handle to be shifter to the left-hand side but the trigger is not compatible.

Mine used to have the old slide-on suppressor which was kind of okay but I recently got a B&T suppressor off the forum secondhand and it made a big difference around the property in terms of not spooking the horses

Years ago when I first bought it I tried a pack of all the different mainstream 22 rounds and found that it ate CCI the most easily, I haven't tried the extra quiet CCI segmented subs talked about in another thread so will try them soon

Those Aussie bastard magpies are in for it shortly, I hang their bodies in the creek and the eels strip them - recycling at it's best
