Thread: Sighting a new rifle

Alway sight my .22 in at 70 metres but start at 25. Read a ballistic chart as it it will climb an come back in, depends on ammo used as 308 says. Did the same with my .17 yesterday 25 metres then 100. From 25 metres had to bring it up about 5 ". It's easy to hit a target to start with at the closer range
