Contemplating getting a single shot Bergara in 308. Would be shooting out to 200m max, in the theme of been packable in my pack, what would you recommend as sights for one?

Leupold pig plex 1-5 or a 2-7 both very small scopes that sit low to barrel so nice to carry,less to catch.

I find the mil dot or bdc reticle useful for using different loads, I have it zeroed for standard load then use other subtensions for knowing where to aim for the subsonic loads. Some quick release rings will allow you to break it down further if you really want. I just got comparatively cheap Konus ones and they seem to be pretty reliable and repeatable with the Leupold 1-5 scope I have on it.

Had a Vortex 1-8 strike eagle on my ba13 and now a 1-8 Venom. Work as a red dot on 1x great field of view and surprisingly bright. can stretch to 300m easy with holdover. Took a few solid tumble in the bush in the bush with the strike eagle and it never lost zero.
