After a few years of wanting a 284 finally put things into play. Was going to send to gunworks but they have now put all 284 jobs on hold. Any other recommendations on where I should send instead.

Worn the reamer out? Sounds like they’ve done a few!
They done a few over the years, tikkas getting harder apparently and causing issues
They have been hard & causing issues for ages that's why Guys won't touch them....Quote:

I see on a recent FB discussion about this exact same thing Dean Maisey has said he can ream Tikka barrels to 284, give him a yell, he does good work.
Gunworks did a tikka 280Ack re-ream.
Works a treat!
I wonder if the tikka metal has always been hard or if its a batch issue.
