    Something I found a wee bit interesting, 700NE conversion built on a 10ga SxS

    All those with dogs waiting no longer fear death. Those with many dogs waiting even welcome it in it's time.

    Yep saw that pretty interesting just how much brass is at the end of the case.

    I can only imagine the recoil. Hell if you missed with the first shot .....................

    So it would be easy to make a 700-50 bmgNE bolt action rifle, and just using Normal
    50 bmg primers...

    The typical average muzzle velocity of a factory-loaded cartridge ( 1000grn. bullet ) is 2,000 ft/s (610 m/s). In the 18-pound (8.2 kg) rifle used by Accurate Reloading this would result in recoil energy of approximately 160 ft·lbf (220 J). This is more than ten times the average recoil from a .308 Winchester

    Did they tell him they were after a nice tight 5 shot group?
