What are peoples experiences with the new models? Are the notched legs that much of an advantage? Does that locking tab get annoying and why have a plug in the adapter. I’d imagine that’d get lost really quick.

If you've got screw adjustable legs I wouldn't bother, the notched legs are heavier but no more or less user friendly imo. The plug is nice but a bit of a gimmick, they are strongly magnetic I usually just stick mine to the trigger guard when the bipod is in use. Hasn't fallen off yet
