I've reported the auction to Leupold and told Trademe I have done so.
That normally gets Trademe's attention.
Shouldnt that guy be "in trade" as well, looks like he buys and sells a lot of firarms on there. Are there similar rules for selling firarms as cars? ie more than X cars a year and you need to be licensed?

5 Dealers to be licensed
(1)
No person shall—

in the way of his business, sell any firearm, airgun, pistol, or restricted weapon; or
(b)
manufacture for sale any firearm, airgun, pistol, or restricted weapon,—
unless he is the holder of a dealer’s licence issued to him under this Act by a commissioned officer of Police.

I'm amazed it never got pulled by trademe. I reported it, as did a whole bunch of people I'm sure.
