    Spotting scope

Hey, looking ro purchase a spotting scope around the 6-800 range like the vortex diamondback etc. Just wondering if there's any other around the price that are worth looking at? May even hold off for a little longer and try pick up a 2nd hand higher quality one

Hawke optics get very good reviews also, so might be worth a look. I bought a second hand Endurance ED 15-45x and embarrassingly have yet to use it in the wild, but very happy with it.

You will regreat buying a cheap spotting scope. If you budget is limited, spent the money on high quality binos.

Lower end (under $1500-2000) spotters dont have the glass quality to judge or age animals, especially when zoomed in past their base mag.

I’ve got a Delta and would rate it as average, you get what you pay for
Uplandstalker is 100% on the money
I’d definitely look at a second hand Swaro or similar
